HI LADIES! OP,I TOO WAS WONDERING WHAT THAT PITTER,PATTERING SOUND AS WELL.ALL I CAN SAY IS THANK YOU JESUS,LOL! I LIVE IN THE SOMA DISTRICT HERE IN SAN FRANCISCO AND CAN USUALLY SEE THE BAY BRIDGE FROM MY BALCONY,BUT NOT THIS EVENING! STAYED IN BED ALL DAY AND WATCHED OLD MOVIES WHILE EATING ENCHILADAS-TALK ABOUT A GUILTY PLEASURE,BUT I ENJOYED MYSELF.IT IS SUPPOSED TO BE A HUGE STORM ON FRIDAY,SO I WILL HANDLE MY BUSINESS TOMORROW SO THAT I WON'T GET CAUGHT IN THE DELUGE AND I WILL EXERCISE @ HOME INSTEAD OF GOING TO THE GYM,THEN MAKE SOME SOUP AND WATCH MORE T.V. HEY,I HAVE TO ENJOY THIS WHILE I CAN...IT IS SUPPOSED TO BE 70 DEGREES NEXT WEEK,LOL.CIAO! :-)

I wish all the snow we have in MN could be sent to you all in CA. You need it & we are sick of it. We can't even see at intersections, because snow banks are so high. ENJOY!

I think we need to build some kind of water pipeline to bring all the melting snow to the west coast.

I've seen photos of what you're dealing with and I hope your spirits can hold up until it's over.. it will end, it probably doesn't feel like it, though.

Yes! Us too! I love it! It's the thing I miss most about my east coast life. My friends back east don't believe me when I tell them that I can't remember the last time it rained. That sounds like a cliche, but I mean it literally.

Today I asked my 7th graders if they remember rain and they said, "It rained one day in 5th grade!"

That's so funny! Did you take out an umbrella and explain how to use it? I'm retired from teaching but sure do miss the kids and all their simple wisdom. Loving the rain, refreshing our trees and providing the water they need, replenishing our dams and aquifers. Please continue conserving everyone!

Well as much as Phoenix needs this storm, we sure wish it weren't this weekend. The annual Native American gathering at the Heard Museum this Saturday and Sunday. Of all weekends. But then again, the true shoppers won't let some rain keep them away
