Re: O/T: I really should be running errands today, but...

I hope you stayed home. You obviously need to a break and that is okay.

Everyone is complaining of sinus headaches (including me) - I hope that is a sign Spring and warmer weather is on its way !

Maddie, you are not alone. Sometimes it's ok to do just what we want to do instead of what we think we should do. It's ok to be good to yourself.

Re: O/T: I really should be running errands today, but...

Me too! And I have had such a sinus headache today too. DH is working in the garage now after giving up on trying to get me to go out and run some errands we need to do. I have just wanted to stay home today!

We are supposed to be going today to pick out new carpet. I told DH if we didn't get it done today we could do it tomorrow. I am procrastinating! He was ready at 9am to go.

I don't really know what I want yet, even though we went to look at samples, prior to having the measurements done. So it's time to make a decision! -sigh- I guess I need to go tell him I'm ready to go and just get on with it!

Hi maddie! I am sorry you have a headache. That is excuse enough to be kind to yourself.

My husband is out of town and I was quite lazy this morning. I didn't get out of the house until 11:30 a.m. Oh my goodness it was a madhouse. I live between two Whole Foods and the parking lot of the first one I went to was like bumper cars! I left in frustration and made a quick trip to the other store in the opposite direction. I poked around a few boutique shops but wasn't really in the mood and decided to spend the afternoon at home.

I wish our patio furniture was out. It is a beautiful day to lounge on a chaise and soak up the sun. Hope you feel better soon!

Congrats! It's the greatest thing "since sliced bread."

Thank you so much Kathleen. I have an early out Federal retirement, but needed the social security to go with it. I'll be so happy just knowing no more winter commutes to work. That in itself is worth it.

Re: O/T: I really should be running errands today, but...

Add me to the list of whiners and complainers. I knew I was in for a rough week when the time change happened. That one hour change wrecks my whole system, makes me ache all over, can't sleep at night, plus we are having a heat wave. I worked outside all week with tons of oak pollen flying around. AC system is down, temps are up to 88 and all the windows are open with ceiling fans going. I'm going braless, in shorts, doing nothing but lounging around with a glass of ice tea.

I don't feel guilty one bit!

Re: O/T: I really should be running errands today, but...

I always try to stay home on the weekends and do my errands during the week. I just don't like fighting the crowds. I have a cooking class tomorrow at our local co-op so I will have to venture out.
