O/T Green/Purple/Blue etc Nail Polish

I recently bought the most vibrant purple nail polish and it looks bad ....I have fairly long nails so it's just not that my nails aren't long enough to pull of this color BUT, I was at Sears last weekend and sure enough, a young gal had green polish on one hand and purple on the other hand and her nails were quite short and it even looked worse on her.

Besides the under 20 population, who's wearing these colors? I noticed a couple weeks ago Kelly Ripa had green polish and it sure didn't look attractive either.


I think I'll just stay with my shades of red.

Are these colors fashionable....should you match your clothing with your nail polish?
