35 years here!.... miss the kids and the colleagues but not the stress and paperwork!

37.5 years teaching Special Ed Center Based, all age groups. Retired 9/12012 and loving it. Miss the kids not the bureaucracy at all. Retirement is great.

I could have filed a complaint, but didn't bother. Now, I could run up and down the stairs whenever needed. I wish I could find a day or two of work in a school myself.

32 years. However, I've loved every minute of retirement.

25 years for me. All in Special Ed. It is a hard job, but worth it!
