37.5 years teaching Special Ed Center Based, all age groups. Retired 9/12012 and loving it. Miss the kids not the bureaucracy at all. Retirement is great.

Wow, me too. The district refused me access of an elevator, and it ended my career. I could have filed a complaint, but didn't bother. Now, I could run up and down the stairs whenever needed. I wish I could find a day or two of work in a school myself.

25 years for me. All in Special Ed. It is a hard job, but worth it!
