I always love seeing what’s new on QVC. But I am shocked that Jacqueline Smith clothing is now available. Her clothes sell at Walmart! They do not belong on QVC! And for that matter neither does Jenny Garth clothing. Her 90210 celebrity ended a long time ago. Do better!

@Mideka84   "Does not belong???"  How about just you don't like it, which is a solid opinion.

If you don't like the brands, don't buy.

Jaclyn Smith's brand seems to very popular on HSN, and Jennie Garth's brand has been stated to be extremely popular on QVC.

Her clothing is not sold at Walmart, it's listed on the Walmart website by 3rd party sellers...HSN & other retailers carry her clothing line. Shocked on Q...lol.

Speaking of Jaclyn Smith, I want to know where she gets her wigs.  They look great and so does she.

Thank you for posting about the quality.  I bought a few things back and in the K-Mart days and was happy with the quality.  I wondered if the quality had changed and you answered my question.  Thank you.

JACLYN Smith sells on HSN, not QVC.  Her 80's clothing line at KMart was exceptional quality. There was another thread about her line months ago when she started and many people have similar sentiments as I do.

Do not judge her line until you try it. I bought two boucle jackets when she started at HSN a year or two ago, that had gold lurex and fully lined. Beautiful garments and worn relatively frequently in the fall and winter months, perfect for religious services, outings, work and fancy concerts etc. Her stuff is constructed perfectly, fit is on point which is hard to find at QVC many times, and she really takes pride in her lines. She does not do it just because she is some part time paid Q50 ambassador (Teresa Caputo I am looking at you). She is very successful at it because she is involved and cares that her name is on the product. People have come to expect a lot from her  lines, and I think she delivers.  Cheers to "Kelly Garrett" on her success! Smiley Happy

The shout-out about the Jaclyn Smith line certainly seems very random and out of no where.

I wonder what Kelly Garrett did to the OP to elicit such scorn!

The "Do Better" admonishments are always good for a laugh.  Seen them before.

I have bought several pieces of clothing from Jennie Garth's line and I like each one very much.  Well made.  I'm assuming you haven't kept up with her in the past 20 years.  "Do better!"

Not to be picky but her name is JACKLYN Smith.

She used to be in K-Mart way back and her clothes were very good for the price.  The quality is on par with D&C and SG at much better prices.  I hope she stays on HSN.

@kaydee50 Not to be picky, but her name is JACLYN Smith...no "k"!

The OP should apply for the fashion buyer job openings which are currently available at The QVC Group.

They seem to have exceptional expertise as to what is acceptable and what is not.  That insight is invaluable to a retailer.

My theory:  the are a "celebrity", possibly a failed, lower graded Housewife, who presented a concept to both QVC and HSN but was rejected.  Hence, the unhappiness and bitterness.   It's all possible, particularly on the always entertaining QVC Forum.

@Mideka84

Maybe you should just stick to shopping at Nordstom Rack. wink
