Ann Taylor now does this with their Final Sale category. If you buy an item online as a final sale, you need to be sure of your style/size.  Good deals can be found.

I just purchased a D & Co Blowout top for $9.99. I didn’t notice it saying the item was not returnable. I am pretty confident it will be fine, because I know my D & Co size & the fabrications I like. If it doesn’t work for some reason, I would not spend $ to return such an inexpensive item. I could wear it around the house, give it to my sister, or donate it.

I would order, only with free shipping.

 

I like bargains, and with free shipping, it's almost a win-win.
