I thought  they gave this out all of the time. I spent $75.00 this morning and the cashier said there is no more Kohl's cash. I don't know if it is given out on certain dates or it is now over with. Anyone know?

@cuddlesmama  I know it is indeed only given out during certain sales promos for it.  It is not given out every single time you spend over a certain amount.   I've been told several times, "oh, that ended lst Thursday" or whatever. Then they'll have another promo doing it.

Might be that they are ending it.  I don't shop there but I did read the company was in trouble and would close stores.

No Kohl's cash is being given out currently since right now they are in a redemption period for Kohl's cash. Kohl's cash can be redeemed from 3/14/16 at 12 a.m. CST- 11:59 p.m. CST on 3/24/16. All you have to do is go to their website to see if it's an earning period or a redemption period.

I don't think they are doing away with Kohls Cash. I think that they meant that particular promotion was over.

They only have a Kohl's Cash Promotion every so often..it is not continual.

They have them a couple times a month. I like it around the holidays as I accummulate a lot but after that...they have since changed it not to be allowed after expiration - which is not a issue to me as I get it..why have an expiration date on things and expect to use it at my leisure. If I have a significant amount iti s up to me to use it or lose it.

I have a feeling that eventually they will be ending  Kohl's cash. I've read many complaints on their Facebook page that Kohl's cash can be redeemed for 3, maybe 4 days now. I remember when the redemption period was 10 days. If Kohl's cash goes away, I will no longer be shopping at Kohl's.

That was only for a special recent redemption period (March 10th to the 13th).

I just received the new sales flyer today and the next Kohl's Cash promotion period is March 16 - 26.  Redemption period is March 27 - April 10.

I doubt they have any plans to stop Kohl's Cash, as they'd likely have to stop their Rewards program, too.

What they have done (March of 2015) is stopped taking Kohl's Cash after the expiration date, as too many people abused it.  I was told by the manager in one of my local stores that, when they still accepted expired coupons, many customers saved them up until the Christmas period, when all the big sales were going on.  Then, if things were returned, they got merchandise credits to use...during another promotion period!

Customers who abuse generous policies ruin it for everyone else.

I think that Kohl's is tightening up on their promotions.

I had some 10 off coupons - woman's intimates and men's apparel - but you had to spend at least $40 on what the coupon was promoting in order to get the $10 off.

I don't recall that specific "must spend x amount" stipulation before.

I don't believe that was Kohl's cash though.  I think that was just a coupon.  I had one for $10.00 off after spending X amount.  I didn't pay attention to the exact amount because I knew I wasn't using it so I tossed it.  Kohls cash can still be used on anything as long as it costs $10.00 or more.

They have already gone through some not so great changes at Kohls.  There are now loads of items that are excluded from the percent off coupons where before you could use them on anything.  They are almost as bad as Macys.

They also sent me a $5.00 "reward" for my birthday this month and it too has a ton of exclusions.
