First what is junk to OP and others might actually be what many like.  I do not buy much clothing here as most brands too old lookin and conservative for me but I really like the gift shows.  I rarely watch QVC much but love the gift shows and Christmas decoration shows.  It's Christmas time and more proabably buy from the gift shows than the fashions .  I don't live my life around what QVC shows.

Yes; clearly everyone here who commented "lives their lives around what QVC shows."

Well, no, I don't live my life around QVC, but I do enjoy the first hour of Leah's show with my coffee on Saturday mornings.  Kind of a Saturday habit for me.  I switch to watch the news at 7am, but love my Leah from 6 to 7!   I may block QVC from my TV until all the miscellaneous junk shows are over.

Good morning!

Well! I’m pretty stunned that EP is auto now!

My bad! I ALWAYS do EP these days, but really, I more believe in paying as I go. That would be my default.

I never checkout through “speed buy” because I always include “Mr. Rebates” and somehow speed buy settings make me nervous!

Not to be “complainy” but yesterday I went to a nearby day spa. Everything was a “Black Friday” sale, so their services were on a reduced price.

The young ladies helping me gave the appearance of being in a hurry... I understand they had stuff to do.

@capatosta

this fits in with “lack of communication” skills that I feel are very prevalent in today’s world. When I taught, many of my students had speech problems. Although I would have done just about ANYTHING for these kids, the speech thing REALLY got on my nerves. This was partly because others were making lots of noise, the room was overcrowded, and I am getting OLD!

Thanks Faerie Moon...I thought I was crazy when each "customer service rep" acted like my request was a crazy one!  Plus I was astonished to get one this morning that truly could not be understood.  That never happened before with the Q people.

@Witchy Woman

WHY thank you. I just flipped over to Evine! Cheery holiday looking set. Very nice!

I purchased a flashlight type thing last year — one of the “gadgets”

It was supposed to stretch across an expanse so I thought DH and DSIL would find this useful. Hmmm no word at all on whether they liked or will use!

A “gadget” that did turn out to be VERY useful last year after the holidays are these single arm lamps.

One is battery operated so it can be unplugged and used in an area of little light. We used it while installing tv...modem cords, etc.

Oh! BF STORY

We have not had a toaster for years!

We are beginning to miss having one.

So, DH said “you can order a toaster.”

I went to order one on Amazon, and one was half price. (Does not have the best reviews)

It will be coming home to mama!

How in the heck have you lived without a toaster?  @LTT1

I'm kidding, of course.  Even if I don't use it all of the time, I have to have a toaster on my counter - I don't know why.

It's all that doorbell thing and cheap gifts today.  Evine had their usual fashion show this morning.  Actually, I prefer their Wake Up in Style to AMS now.   I don't know if it was Evine or Xfinity but there was no sound on Evine.  Which wasn't exactly a bad thing...lol  Sometimes the blah blah blah gets in the way, for all the shopping channels.
