Good morning...
Slept in late ... whoa, is "slept" a word? Brain not functioning on all cylinders this a.m. It's cold, damp, cloudy, so ...
@Bird mama ... you put this song in my head so here it goes ...
Chaka Khan and Rufus - Tell me something Good (RE-MASTERED) Official Video HD - YouTube
@PINKdogWOOD ... go glad for the good news on your DH's scan ...
Nothing exciting happenin' this weekend ... I'll catch up on some shows I've been recording.

Hi @Bird mama
I have bought plants from the Q. I did not like the way they were packaged. Not in a waterproof container. By the time the cardboard box got to me, it was a wet, muddy, broken down mess. I remember the UPS driver looking at me like, "Here ya go lady. Good luck."
So that really turned me off. Although they looked great once the season was in full swing. Even the neighbors commented on them.

It's gonna be 95 here today. The days of planting and gardening (or going outside for much of anything) are quickly coming to an end. My gardening consists of my landscaper coming today, trimming bushes and putting down weed control.

I was thinking of Chaka Khan and Rufus when I posed the question @SoX .
I'm glad I grew up when I did - the music was so good then.

That song brings back such bittersweet memories of my late brother ... every time he'd come to our house he'd begin the greeting with "tell me something good," and then we'd pantomime a dance from those days ... talk about fun times ...

I've always listened to music so I don't think that age has anything to do with it. There is something about the music I listened to in the 1970's (especially) and the 1980's that are so intertwined with memories. When I hear Sir Duke by Stevie Wonder (Songs in the Key of Life album) I vividly remember driving to Cedar Point with my sister and her soon to be husband. The clarity of the memory is like watching a film in front of me.
