I really do love that jacket! It has all of the Southwestern colors in it... lucky you.

People whose skin and hair color lend to the southwestern colors are lucky, imo.

One of our major universities here, UT, has “rusty orange” as their main color! Thank heavens I did not go there...cannot wear that color!

I have nothing for that, but at the end of this week, we have our family for company! It will be a short visit.💙❤️

I thought we'd all be up this a.m. ... so thought I'd check in. @Bird mama I saw those earrings earlier this week, thought of you and smiled ... @lolakimono I have a jacket (lots, in fact) from IM that looks like yours ... hey, I love and wear them on vacation. Gonna look for a pic to compare colors. @LTT1 ... nothing shakin' and bakin' this weekend for me ...

Oh, @lolakimono ... I haven't pulled the trigger on the enhancer ... yet; because I couldn't resist this ...

Monday (10 days ago) I noticed the Mr. Handsome's third eyelid. BF was home with him ALL DAY, but didn't notice anything so...

On Tuesday I had a doctor's appointment after school, and then I took him to the V-E-T, and it was a struggle by myself. Diagnosis, maybe a small scratch, so a week's worth of eye drops 2X/day. He has been avoiding me and it is a two person job.

Wed. I had a meeting all day off campus, for which I had to stay late on Monday to make sub plans, then class for three hours after school, until 7:45, and it's about a half hour from my house. Lonnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnng work day.

Thurs. I ended up subbing for evening HS for a colleague, so that was also a long day. M y sub did not pass out my packets to my advanced class, so they didn't do anything for an hour and a half.

Friday I proctored a detention after school, and the one kid stayed until 4 "working" (finally!) on his assignments.

Saturday I went to the outlet mall with a coworker, who has lost 30+ pounds and was in need of dresses. I was her "Girl Friday" who fetched the dresses in different sizes. Normally I go into "slug mode" after AMS, so it was a departure to go out and to the mall. We left before dinner, and about two hours later on the news they reported a SHOOTING there. Yikes!

Mon. BF and I were off together, so we loafed. I got rid of three bags of clothing from my closet.

Tuesday I had school and we had an impending snowstorm, so I went out and got groceries. I had to again take Mr. Handsome to the vet by myself for a 6 p.m. appointment, and BF met us there. He was given the all clear, so no more eyedrops!

Wed. we had a freak snowstorm, and so I was off. BF works from home on that day, so he was "on the clock" while I shoveled.

Thurs. we were on a delay at school, but I didn't find out early enough so I went to the gym at 4 as usual. I had class again for three hours after school, so I didn't get home until after 8.

Yesterday I again had a detention, which the kid blew off. I met a new coworker at 4 for a drink, and came home at 5:30. I have a giant stack of grading to do. Some things are more efficient to get done at school because of the computer programs we have access to, and some things can only be accessed from school. I have to write up my SLO and compile data this weekend.

Up next, preparing for conferences, which requires updated grades.

I found these American West earrings in new arrivals earlier in the week and ordered the bird option to go with an enhancer that I bought last summer. J390543, also comes in turtle/aventurine and horse/tiger's eye. I'm surprised that there isn't a dragonfly/rhodonite option.
