Yesterday, I was looking through my jewelry for a pearl necklace that someone gave me back in 1989 (I haven't worn it in years - forgot all about it), and found a bunch of enhancers. 

I need to go through all the "old" stuff to see what I can recycle for 2018 +

Just read your post about Sears on the Shopaholics thread.   If you can believe it, the last Sears store in Chicago closed in July.  Hard to imagine the city without even one store ... we used to have the large flagstore at the end of what was considered part of the "Loop" downtown ... a full city square block.   That store closed sometime ago.   Then years later,  another, much smaller one was opened at the opposite end of the downtown area, but that, too, didn't make it.

Sign of the times, I guess

@LTT1  It absolutely poured here all morning after 'just' raining thru the night. Of course we had to be out in it doing Saturday chores. It just sort of stopped only an hour or so ago. I hate needing to be out in the rain - it was a gortex kind of day for sure.

@SoX  That's funny you talking about your jade pieces too. I had a jade-buying period years ago too, looked at all of my pieces not long ago. Most of what I have seems to be multi-colored. I do recall having a pr of green jade hoop earrings, I dropped one one the hardwood floor and it split right in half. I was kind of surprised since everyone talks about how hard jade is. I should wear my jade.

Right now I'm into yellow gold (or faux) again.

@lolakimono, @SoX  I hope it's not so about maybe fazing out Halston. Cameron sold me a lot of his tees in many colors.

Leggings - I just finished replenishing many in my collection too, yet more jeans as well. I think - I'd like to hope I DONE!

Although, I have now been looking at adding in a few cute long sleeve blouses, you know like 'tailored' shirts. I'm into wearing white tailored shirts with jeans, that Lauren Bacall/Ralph Lauren look.

@lolakimono, I truly appreciate your kind reply concerning PMARK. Think I may stay with EB. Have had super experiences with their sellers. Will check outJackthe bear. Have gotten into A. Bittar. Was always just gold or silver. The more I read about A. Bittar the more interested I became in his designs. Although it may look like costume pieces I have purchased. (more expensive prices) have been beautiful. Once again a sincere thank you. Still hoping you may write a fashion, jewelry great idea book.
