I just bought my first (and last) Nina Leaonard clothing item.  I got the navy balero which looked really cute and got good reviews.  I needed it for a blue print dress.  Received it today and put it on.  First of all it is a Large ( I most always wear M but got according to measurements) and it was a whole size too small.  Very tight in sleeves ( I have thin arms) and  the fabric feels like PLASTIC.  So scratchy.  Going back ASAP.  Not at all happy with clothing quality from HSN.  I did get 2 pair of Democracy shorts on sale and they were great but other brands (Rhonda Shear, Colleen Lopez) not so good.  I will stick to QVC for clothing, if I get a good price on something.

I have several Nina Leonard items and am happy with them.  Also some DG, Giuliana Rancic, Iman, etc.  Much prefer the clothing on HSN.  That's what makes the world go round!

I also prefer HSN clothing and Designers. Better quality, prices, shipping. I must say though, I am not liking any prints from Qvc or Hsn. Most remind me of old wallpaper. There was a checked shirt from D&C on today. I had a vinyl tablecloth for my front porch table that looked exactly like it years ago. No thanks.

I bought a cute dress from Nina Leonard and I went up a size just in case. Well even going up a size it didn't fit in my hips. Way to small! That was my last experience with NL.
I do love democracy. Their jeans really do lift up the bottom and fit great!

I made my first Nina Leonard purchase several months back, of two ivory tank tops. One is lightweight for warm weather. I haven't worn yet but will get around to it.

The other is a thicker, tunic length. I'm not crazy about it, I looked like a sheep. It has some tiny snags out of the bag, but can be easily fixed. So it's probably going to snag while wearing. If it does, I'll wear it at home.

Democracy has some cargo jeans on sale for $20. Only a few sizes left in Raw Umber: 2, 6, 8, 10, 22w, 24w. 22w is available in Raw Umber and Laurel Oak (green). 24w is available in all colors.

@bargainsgirl , I agree about NL.  They recently had a TSV and I ordered one set.  In looking at the size chart, I placed an order for the size that SHOULD have fit me.

When I tried it on, the bottoms were huge and the top was too tight; the arms were uncomfortably tight.

So it did me no good to go by their size chart.  I called CS to report I was sending it back and asked for the return shipping to be issued to me as I felt it was defective.   I got the credit to my CC, but was told they would have to mail me a check for the returnn postage and it would take 7-10 days.  I just found that ridiculous and I'll be watching for it.  No more NL for me.

I also placed an order for 3 Democracy tops; all 3 were too big (again, went by size chart).  I spoke to a lovely woman in CS and she knew exactly what I was saying.  She told me that she orders alot from Democracy but ALWAYS  sizes down one size.

It just shouldn't be that way IMO.  I'm finding myself ordering much less in clothing from either network.

I bought the Nina Leonard Tsv and I don't love it.  The fit is ok but the fabric is that inexpensive stretchy knit that all the shopping channels sell.  It will work for wearing around the house.

@chrystaltree   I agree with you.  I ordered a long jacket in that fabric and it overpowered me.  Too heavy pulling down from my shoulders!  I didn't return but am ready to donate it.  Fabric was awful!

I think both networks and all the clothing lines can be hit or miss.  If you have good luck, then great.   It can also depend on the item you purchase, tops or pants.   I find the sizing even within the same brands can be all over the map.    No such rule to always size up or down in any line, except NYDJ of course.........eyerollSmiley LOL

I just recently purchased the Nina Leonard Tie-Front mesh cardigan 829-069 in both the navy & black.  It looks like a winner!  I went by measurements and ordered it in the large.  (I usually wear medium tops).

I like how it can really dress up a simple sleeveless dress or tank top.
