@Nonametoday I like that blazer, but not enough to buy something that maybe I'd wear once or twice a year in my south Florida climate.

@Nonametoday

You're really tempting me with these J.Crew pieces recently. 😉

I like this blazer, but the way it's styled is a bit too "school girl" for me. I could wear this easily with jeans and trousers.

Repeating to myself: "I don't need another blazer." 🥴

I like the jacket, but would need it a little longer.  I like the styles at JCrew Factory, but they just don't fit me as well as merch from the actual JCrew stores.   Of course they're the factory version so less expensive, but I find they run smaller and shorter.

I still have my 100% wool black/white herringbone blazer from years ago.

It's classic and always in style.

@Nonametoday  -  I like it and I like it more than a longer blazer.  I'd certainly wear it.

@Carmie

I had a beautiful one, Ralph Lauren, that I bought when I had gained a lot of weight.  Two years later, I lost weight and never wanted to gain it back, so I took it to a donation area for Salvation Army.  A few weeks later I took some of DH's clothes in and the manager was sitting there with my jacket on.  She said "I just couldn't let that herringbone beauty go. I bought it myself."  She was a volunteer so I did not mind that she had bought it, anyone who gives her time to worthy organizations.  I would have given it to her had I known just for her service.

It's very nice. I have two LL Bean wool herringbone blazers. One is mine and the other belonged to my Mom. I have to get both of them tailored in the Fall.
