30% off one regular priced item, February 8th-12th.

Why is it, when I have a 50/50 guess at something, I'm always 100% wrong?

I like that but I'm not sure anything is really  in my radar screen right now

Thanks @gidgetgh .  However, for me as a premier / classic rewards member,  it would be better to buy anything new I'm interested in at the 25% off before the next promo and get triple points plus that 100 extra bonus points for a purchase (I want the latter anyway and will make a point of redeeming that before the end of the day on the 7th when that promo ends).

@Pearlee@cherry- I agree. I much prefer the 25% off and 3x points.

And there’s nothing on my radar right now either. I have gift cards from Christmas and cashing in Discover points burning a hole in my pocket!  I didn’t use them on Saturday and used my Talbots card instead because I wanted the extra points.

Perhaps later in the season they will offer things  that make me want to shop again

I do love the gingham vest I bought from them and the 2crewneck tees...

I wish they had more color choice offerings in some of their  tops

@cherry- I know you’re pretty new to Talbots. They’re always a little slow in January and February. Still winter, but we’re looking to Spring. They’ll bring in Spring full force several times and then yet more for summer. What they’re doing now is just a little tease.

I have a short attention span, LOL.  Always ready for new arrivals.

@gidgetgh  That was certainly the right thing to do, since getting the extra points makes up for "only" getting 25% off, since you know those items will be reduced more later.

Don’t buy the T for Talbots dress with seahorses.  I did and the backside of the embroidered seahorses scratched my back.  I wrote a review and it was accepted, but never posted.  That was a week ago.  I’m not sure I’m impressed with that.  Unfortunately, imho, I think Talbots is going through a bad period again.  Things look cheap to me and are not fitting well.  Some of the dresses are pretty short, too.

I haven't run into anything that was poorly manufactured..but I did find out in the store how sizes can vary

So far everything I have ordered on line has fit ,and been very nice

I did see a sweater I thought I wanted from viewing it on line, and decided against it, when I saw it in person. It was sort of flimsy

@cherry, the thinness of many of the sweaters is a common complaint that I see in reviews. As a matter of fact, I'm sitting here wearing one of those. But if I lived in a cold climate, I would probably be one of those complainers.
