April 6-9th.  25% off entire purchase for Talbots Classic Awards members plus 3X the points.  I don't think this is for all customer - I have a code at the bottom of the post card I received in the mail today that it says i need to present to the cashier.  OK...Good thing I read the fine print if I need to take my post card to the store with me!

I still think there will be a better deal than the 25% during Easter weekend!

Thanks for the info -- you always seem to get your cards in the mail before I do!

I love Talbots and I wear only their sweaters and tees.............love them and wait until there is a sale and for some reason I am getting in the mail $20 off and $25 off so I got a tee shirt for $1.67..........love it.............I love the outlet stores also........yet I only get to one when I go to Houston and I am not going this year...........they have some pretty things this year but I only wear natural fiber so I am limited.  They have some things on sale now as always and I never get in on teh 3x points........I live over 2 1/2 hours from a store........if you wait long enough you can usually get great prices.  I did buy the beautiful sweater with the pink and dark pink roses on it a cardian and I love it and wear it and I also go the wool sweater in brown with the beautiful big flowers on it..............they are just really nice but  I have to be careful when I wash and wash gently cold water hang to dry.........some times the quailty after the first wash is not good but I love their merino wool sweaters..............I hope you all get some really great deals.

I received the Talbots postcard a few minutes ago.

Why is it, when I have a 50/50 guess at something, I'm always 100% wrong?

@DowntonAbbey

 SS stores are in a number of the better NJ malls.  (but I hardly ever go malls anymore) They are very nice but the SAs cling to you the minute you walk into the store.

I've been ordering from them for a long time now but hate their shipping fees, their discount codes barely cover the S&H, the quality can be hit or miss, and they keep some items at full price for years.

@DowntonAbbey  You should never hang sweaters to dry, as you posted you did with that one you mentioned.  They will lose their shape.  You need to lay sweaters flat to dry, preferably on a drying rack.

Thank you for SS I got some great deals and the items were nice.  I got a cover up that had been $89 for $9 and then I got a linen one in blue that is gorgeous for $8 that had been $89 but when I got it in it had a peanut butter cup on it.........really so I got out the Joe Campanilli sport remover and washed in cold water and the candy came out........the shipping is crazy but the silk pull overs I got I adore and did you see them in the catalog or online the one with the Japanese lady and one with the butterfly? I got them as they cover nicely my big rumpus and stomach that I have never had but I am accepting the weight as I have to take the meds..........but yes they are difficult at times on the phone so I won't be ordering for a long time but I ordered from the Outlet.  It is a beautiful store as I got to go in one when I was out of state.   Thank you for sharing and the cost of shipping is usually $12.95 too much but the deals were so good and they are nice.  But I can tell you I won't visit the site much.

Thank you for the information of not hanging sweaters to dry.  I probably need to take them off my hangers in the closet too. Again, thank you.

I got a discount announcement card. I don't have a Talbots Credit Card but I did sign up for the Rewards.
