New subcategories - LCNY

I've read (in this Community) that JCPenney bought out Liza Claiborne - including the LCNY brand. Once a company does that do you know how long it takes for the brand to become exclusive to that particular store?

Just wondering since the Q added a new LCNY category in the Fashion Community.{#emotions_dlg.blink}
