Elise and Katie seem ok to me.  I think I prefer Katie's demeanor more for viewing, but if I tune in during the predawn hours, so far, neither of them have me scambling for the remote control.

I get up at 3:00 a.m. each day and sometimes turn on the Q when I just can't bear to watch the news anymore.  I have seen both of these new hosts, and in my opinion they are both excellent.  There is no preening, no rambling stories, no breaking into song, no made-up words.  Both have pretty good grammar aside from the ubiquitous (for all hosts these days) improper use of the word "myself."  Both ladies seem to be focused on selling the product, not developing a fan base.  Other hosts who have the prime time slots should watch and learn.

It's a crying shame that the only consistently watchable hour is at 3:00 a.m., but that's the way is.  That time slot is usually covered by Alberti, one of the two new hosts, or (to a lesser extent), Rachel or Gabrielle.  Depending upon the guest, I can actually watch any of those hosts with the volume on.

@Favorite Son, hi girl, long time no see. You have been missed. How's the family, well I hope.
