I think they're cute, but I wouldn't wear them. 

 

Around here, in fleece and Keen country, they wouldn't be practical.  

 

However, if I lived in a high end neighborhood in a place like NY or SFO, I probably would wear them.

Nay for both the tall and short versions. I really don't like these.
