New Here and a 3x

am i to assume that being a 3X means i can forget purchasing clothes from QVC? i've been watching most of the QVC "fashion" shows and have yet to see anything that would flatter a 3x (considering an XL is as large as i've seen). i know people buy the 2x and 3x becaue they sell out quick, but i can't imagine what they look like on. i love the look of Susan Grave but she must be kidding that Liquie Knit and Butternit would flatter a 250 pound woman!
