This is actually sold as a swimsuit coverup, though. The Belle one is simply called a caftan (yes, that's why it looks like a caftan) and is meant to be a loose, flowy dress for summer.

As an actual dress that's a big no-no for me. It would make me look bigger and wider than I already am! But as a pool or beach coverup I'd only wear to and from, it's fine.

I like the shorter caftan styling.  I just never liked maxi length dresses.  But I don't like that style sleeve with sloping shoulders. To me, it looks too matronly.

ETA: I have no problem with the amount of material. At this stage of the game, there is no part of my figure (except my legs) I wish to emphasize.
