Need help quick! TSV size.

I ordered the TSV in three colors in size x large. I second guessing myself because I just receive two SG maxi dresses, one in large and one in x large and the x large is much too big. My reason for going with the XL was to have more room in the upper sleeves of the cardigan. Please tell me if you think I should change to size large while I still can. Thanks!!
