I usually wear a Medium in Linea WK sweaters and ordered the white short sleeve cardi when it was the OTO at Louis's last visit. But alas my size is on waitlist in the white and I don't expect it to come back into stock in my lifetime. Apparently Medium is the size of choice for Linea lovers. Anyway, there is a Large available and I am thinking about ordering it but wondered how those of you who have received this sweater think it fits. For instance, I wear a 12 in numerical sizing so I am at the high end of a Medium (if it is a 10/12). If the Medium runs smallish in this item, maybe I could size up without looking like I got dressed in the dark, as my dear mother used to say. Any thoughts?

Hopefully someone who wears a medium will answer, but in the meantime I thought I'd chime in here. I ordered the smaller of my two WK sizes (XXS) and while it fits beautifully, I think that I could easily wear the next size up - XS. This would be especially true if you are planning to wear it as a cardigan, as I am.

I think this sweater runs on the small side (I ordered the larger of my two sizes and wish I would have sized up even another size), so I wouldn't hesitate to order the next size up. I received mine yesterday and immediately remembered the poster who said the sleeves came to her elbow. Really? They were nowhere near my elbow.

I just got mine in the chili pepper and love it! I got my usual size small and it fits just right--no extra room in shoulders or body----form fitting but not tight. In comparison, I have the WK boyfriend cardis in XS and they too fit well. So, I agree that the new short sleeve one runs a bit on the small size. I think you could go up a size and probably be fine, especially if you plan to layer.

I'm a little frustrated with this right now because I ordered both the chili pepper and white in my normal Lg. The white is okay although I prefer a slightly longer length. The chili pepper is 1 1/2" shorter than the white so there's no way I'll keep that one as it doesn't even hit the top of my hip (and I'm 5'3"). IMO, I think you could size up on this one and be okay. The only snag might be that the shoulder seam might droop over the shoulder, but that would depend on how wide your shoulders are so it might be fine. Overall, I think they run a little small.

I think the sleeves on the short sleeve version of the classic cardigan are snugger. And, looking at the rest of the fit, I think you can go with the Large. I think the short sleeve cardigan is sized to the smaller number of an alpha size. I think the long-sleeve version is the opposite - sized to the upper numerical size of the alpha size. That one I'd recommend staying true to size. But, I think someone can be comfortable in the next size up on the SS.

I usually wear a small in WK, but went up to a medium in this cardigan and the fit is perfect. I think this sweater is running on the small side. I think since you normally wear medium the large will fit you.

You guys are scaring me. Per the "click here" measurement, I should have gotten the size XXS. But because I did not see spandex as part of the material, I ordered XS when it was offered as OTO. I hope it's not going to be too snug.... if it does, I'll just wear it as open open cardigan with my sleeveless dresses....
