I like navy with black too....but only if the navy is more blue than dark.

I don't mix the color navy and black unless my blouse or jacket has both colors.   Of course most of the time navy is soooo dark no one will ever know the difference.  Rules, I don't think so , but personal preference.

I had a navy handbag once, but I rarely used it so I sold it.

I prefer a black bag if my pants, skirt, or most of my outfit is black. Sometimes I carry my red bag with black and white outfits.
