What color shoes would you wear to a wedding - mother of groom?

TIA

@baseballmom2: Congrats from another MOG- just a few short months from now!

Depends on your accessories and your feet! I will probably wear silver kitten heel sandals for the summer wedding. You could do a metallic or lace shoe or sandal.

Either a dyed to match shoe or a nude shoe.

@baseballmom2

When is the wedding and what fabric is your dress?  I'm assuming when you say "gown" that it comes to your ankles?

Navy is a neutral with which you could wear any color.  If the dress is fairly plain you could even wear a patterned shoe to "amp it up".  I'd pick a color and repeat it in accessories.  I would never wear dyed to match... I'm sure they must be passe by now.

Navy is a tricky color, IMO. I would probably do a metallic or beaded/embellished shoe, but it also depends on the jewelry you're planning on wearing.
