The first thing that often comes to mind when hearing the name Narciso Rodriguez is the iconic slip dress he created for Carolyn Bessette-Kennrdy for her wedding in 1996. Who could forget that sleek, sophisticated number? Utterly timeless.
Of course, the designer has garnered several other accomplishments since then—like creating an eponymous fragrance line and dressing a First Lady—and now he has another cool achievement to be remembered for: a new collection with Zara.
Known for his minimal silhouettes, Rodriguez turned to his extensive archive and selected some of his most iconic pieces to create for an exclusive collection with the beloved Spanish label. The 25-piece capsule features a range of minimal yet sophisticated designs—including a gorgeous ivory slip dress similar to the one Bessette-Kennedy wore, an elegant ruched dress in red, and a cozy black coat. Also in the collection are neutral-hued pumps, heeled ankle boots, a belt, as well as evening bags.
The Narciso Rodriguez x Zara collaboration, which retails from $45.90 to $499, will be available to shop online and in stores starting Thursday, September 8.
