The sizing chart is 'general' pertaining to all clothing. I go by the 'click here' measurements for that particular piece of clothing made by that particular designer.  Each item of clothing might be 'fitted', 'semi-fitted', or relaxed fit.

My new rule is if it's not given in lingo I can understand I move on.

I agree that the actual garment measurements are what matter to me when I decide to buy.I want to decide on the fit as in I may prefer a smaller size to hug the body or I may want a looser more comfortable fit for travel or lounging.

I got tired of beating my head against the wall trying to get Q to understand 

If it's not to where the average buyer can understand what she's paying for then I pass on it.  Just ordered from Linea and was so happy he's still doing his clothing in inches.
