@skatting44

Probably! They're practically nude in their pics posted on social media now!

Their point seems to be "I can do whatever I want, I'm special".

They're like sheep following the latest exhibitionist trend.

I didn't watch the Emmy's (?), but I saw a clip of Kendall Jenner as she was being photographed and the one thing I noticed was her quickly putting her hands up across her exposed chest.  Then she dropped them; it was as if she was uncomfortable in what she was wearing.

But then she went into the "pose", as she was expected to.

I don't like any of the so-called "dresses".  Older movie stars knew how to dress with class and glamour.

@San Antonio Gal   Well, that's nice that she respects him enough to do that.

ETA: That's the pic I saw minus the black banner.

Too bad she didn't respect her dad enough not to wear it in the first place.

( I read that it was a look to tell ex Scott Disick "See what you're missing?"  Well, he's seen it all already, so how's that gonna work?)

Sorry but for me it is a huge NO! I loved the old Hollywood glamour when stars dressed like stars. Today it is just who can wear the least amount of cloth without just showing up completely naked. Nothing glamorous about any of it.

The thing is, if even one of them had the self-confidence to buck the trend and wear something really glamouous, she'd stand out in the crowd.

As it is, it's just one after another of the same thing.  Next, please!

I'm ambivalent.  I've often thought that nudity was the last frontier.  I guess we're there.

What would Joan Rivers have said, for heavens sake!  That could have been pretty funny!

@Sweetbay magnolia I would love to have hears Joan on a lot of things today!

How can these actresses  expect to be respected or taken seriously  as they parade around  practically nude . Actresses whine abt not  being treated equally as male actors .

Wonder why ?

I guess I'm too modest to wear or appreciate any of the dresses.

But I'm sure my mom thought the same thing with some of my outfits. Mini skirts, bell bottoms, hip huggers to name a few......
