I purshase the NYDJ TSV cropped jeans in the color Charisma (light gray) and I washed before wearing but noticed the color ran and it looks like there is a big dark stain down the thigh.  Has anyone else had this issue?  I washed the jeans alone and I am 100% sure there was nothing in the waher to cause this issue.  Has anyone else experienced this problem with gray jeans?  I am rewashing now and will hope for the best.

I'm sorry you have had this issue. Something similar happened to me once with a pair of Laurie Felt crop jeans in an olive green color. Like you, I was very careful when I first laundered them, had just received them, but they came out of the wash with a big faded area. It looked as if I had poured detergent or bleach directly on them. I was very disappointed because they were so cute and fit me well. I kept them and just wore them around the house. Probably should have returned them.

Thank you for responding.  This was an expensive purachse for me.  I normally don't pay that much for jeans. I didn't even use soap when washing. The washer is on the spin cycle now.  I hope the stain comes out.  I still have the bag put I tossed the tags so I don't know if I can return.

@Mmjj

Im really sorry you're having to deal with this issue.  I've had that happen before, but it was just down one leg.  Obviously something went wrong with the dying process.  Unfortunately for me, the 30 day period had ran out so I was stuck with them.

If they don't turn out right after this washing, they're never going to.  Send them back as defective as soon as possible.💝🌸

I think you could return them as defective.

You absolutely can return them; mark them as defective. If you have any problems contact customer service but I don't think it will be necessary. It's frustrating I know.

I just took the jeans out of the washer and hung to dry.  The stain appears gone but the jeans are wet so I will have to wait until dry to know for sure. Thank you for resonding and letting me know I can return without tags.

Re: NYDJ TSV ISSUE

[ Edited ]

@Mmjj    I ordered the dark wash and grey, but never wash jeans or anything before wearing.

I've worn NYDJ jeans for years, but these fit quite differently.....a little snug in the waist compared to ones in same size and Marilyn style I've purchased elsewhere. I'm wondering if they make jeans just for Q.
