It is a pretty print...but I do NOT do maxi anything on my body...it makes me appear shorter than I already am...

I am exactly the same way!  I have so many of the skirts and jackets that are drop dead gorgeous.  Several jackets with jacquard and brocade; like you say the are timeless.
