Isaac Mizrahi Live! Essentials Pima Cotton Long Sleeve Tunic.  I bought this because it was one was of the longer tunics which must have...and I loved it, washed it and it shrank! I have others of his that did not shrink but this one did.  Can't send it back because I 'personalized' it. I guess not ALL pima cottons are the same, eh?

Re-wet it in hot water and stretch it out and let it air dry.......that usually works for me.

Thanks, I'll try that.

I always wash my tee shirts (Pima included) in cold water but never place in the dryer. I line dry.  However, I did have a regular cotton tee shrink but it was not from Isaac.  Go figure.

I've heard that it shrinks so I've always hung mine on a hanger to dry.  Despite having washed and shrunk yours, you can still return it if it's within the time constraints.   Mark it as defective.

FYI..................All 100% cotton shrinks if washed in hot water & dried in clothes dryer. Google for details.

About 90% of my clothing is cotton.  DO NOT wash in hot water ever.  You can probably  rewash it  cold water and stretch it a little bit if it has shrunk.  Hot water will tighten the fabric and shrink it further. Line dry or lay flat.

I always wash in cold and hang dry with no shrinking at all.

You didn’t mention exactly how you washed and dried the shirt. I was about to say that none of my Pima cotton shirts from Lands End and LLBean have shrunk, but then I realized that I always wash them in cold water and line dry. I’d just rather not take any chances with 100% cotton.

So so how did you wash and dry it?

Mine shrank, too. A good 3" in the sleeve length.

Mine went back. Sorry but I don't want to spend the time caring for a t shirt as tho it's cashmere.
