Hey! To each their own and she clearly has a personal style and kudos to her but I find it too severe and she reminds me of Andy Warhol!

Re: My NEW STYLE ICON

I think the all black outfits are way too harsh for old skin.  It makes her look older than she is.  White is also a tough color for an older person to wear well because the whites of eyes and natural teeth are not as white in older people (even if you whiten).

I wore Chuck Taylors to work one day and the boss said, "Are you 12 years old?"

Yes, a bit too much black and white for my taste, but there are a few pics of her with some color thrown in (if you look at the older pages)...I'd love to have lunch and then go shopping with her...photos on the blog are very interesting and beautiful...she seems to always be in flight!

My husband wore Chuck Taylor's all through college.  At 65 I would not be caught dead in them. (although they are preferable to white walking shoes from the 1980s) Coupled with the hair color, it looks like grandma (or great grandma) raided her grandson's closet.

Many of the pieces modeled I have (or similar to) in my wardrobe.  I  am more classic than funky when it comes to accessorizing.

LOVE these!  I have several pair of Converse (my black ones are older than God and torn up but they're my favorite gym shoes (I put Superfeet insoles in them).

I'd love to get these!
