Does anyone know where the wedding took place?

@Iwantcoffee  Family estate of the bride, Palm Beach Fl.

@proudlyfromNJ

FOG gifted the happy couple a $500,000 vintage Jaguar.

Guess this is what you give the couple who has everything.

Clearly not the type of wedding I’ll ever attend.

@Drythe Yes, I saw that. The wedding seemed to be similar to the wedding of the daughter of Bill Gates this year.

Pretty but too bare and the favric is a poor choice.

  This is the bride's day, not hers.

@San Antonio Gal This dress reminds me of a long vanity nightgown, except in a foiled fabric.  She will be able to repurpose this and wear it to a disco party in the future!

Fabulous, but I'm not crazy about this shot.  I saw another view that really showed the dress off, the fabric is beautiful.  In the past I would have called this a slip dress.  I agree with others that you need to fit in with the rest of the wedding party and it was said that she did.  She has the perfect form for this dress.

I think she looks great, though I've never considered her to be classically pretty. Her new DIL, on the other hand, was one of the most beautiful brides I've ever seen (except for her terrible choice of shoe).

Sorry, but I've always thought a long dress is so matronly looking. When my son got married, I wore a tea length and it looked so nice. Especially in photos.

IMO, Mother of the groom dress did not upstage the bride.

@ID2  - Are you saying that all long dresses are matronly looking?

I believe the back of that dress is open with the tank straps crisscrossing. I think the bride looks spectacular. Hair and makeup are stunning. But the shoes. I wish I could remember where I saw a pic of the God awful shoes.

Re: Mother of the groom dress...

I don't care for her silver dress. It looks a bit big on her, and it's too long. It definitely gives me a negligee vibe. I don't think it "outshines" the bride. I just don't care for the style or color. JMO
