I have been pondering this question for quite awhile so I thought I would post it to see what others think (I know, time on my hands, but what can I say). Many of the hosts, particularly Pat, often refer to vendors as "mom extraordinairres" when listing the vendor's many credentials. I'm sure this is a sales tactic used to help customers relate more to the vendor and in turn buy the product. I guess I could see the relevance if they were selling mom-related items like baby gear, or nursing bras or something. But that isn't the case. I personally would not buy a product just because the vendor is a mom. I'm a mom, but I don't really care if the vendor is. What do you all think about this? Are you more likely to buy an item just because the vendor is a mom?
