Models' sizes

I was watching the presentations of clothes today. Many have asked about comparing sizes to the models. Jackie is a Large, size 14. Rebecca is a 1X, size 16, and is a fit model for designers, modeling A227159. Then I see Carolyn in her skin tight pants near her claiming to be a Large, size 14. NOT!
