Let's face it - regardless of how many times QVC saleswomen, Susan Graver, etc. say that teen and 20-something daughters will want to wear their stuff, I can't imagine anyone under 50 wearing anything they well, esp. the shoes/sandals.
And I definitely appreciate the fact that ALL sizes are priced the same, unless in retail stores.
However, why not have some 50-70 y/o women MODEL the items???

They do.

REALLY?????????? Do you honestly think that a typical QVC customer is 5'10", size 4, and is under 35 y/o??

No. I'm just saying they have overweight and older models, which is what your OP was about. That's the average American woman, right?

QVC is in it for the $$$ and if younger models sell the items, that's what they are going to do. I also shop with Pendletons Catalogue where the models are 25-30 years old, thin and gorgeous. Same shopper demographic.

Well......I totally agree with you. I think there should be models who are actually a real size 2X or 3X. Why should someone watching TV, buying a size 2 or 3X size, have to 'visualize' what a shirt, blouse, etc, should look like were she to buy that?
I think the OP posted her question very well. I also agree with the OP that some the models should be older.
I'll go a step farther to say I'd like to see darker skinned women as models. More women of color who are darker skinned, not just older.
I could say more but I'll stop at that.

The size 4 in QVC world is a 6 or 8 in real world. I don't think the models are too thin at all. Most look slender, fit and very healthy.

Whatever. I guess I'm seeing things. Not worth arguing about, so "bye!"

You are right about diversity, but let's also include Asians, Latinas, Sephardics and more of a range, to be fair.
