Do you like the look of mixed patterns in clothing items?

I'm too short and squat to get away with these randomish looks, but I've seen combinations like those pictured that I really like.

Yes, I also do it in home decor.

I can like it, or not. For some reason, this one appeals to me:

No...not for me

Usually not.

I've done this successfully, but always have to be really careful regarding the length of the blouse/top/shell/T that's worn, as I'm way high-waisted, thanks to genes from my mother's side of the family. If I pay attention to my purchases regarding the above, I can pull it off and really enjoy some combos. My high-fashion step-mother used to do this all the time when no one else was, but she and her fashion cronies in LA were doing it and looked fab.

No, not at all. Too busy for me,

It's not for me. IMO most people would not know how to do this successfully and would end up looking laughable. Perhaps if you bought the entire Talbots black and white poncho outfit, for example, it would work.

Afraid I'd look like a grade school kid who picked out her own clothes.........
