Re: Missing Poster...Gertrude

I was a direct recipient of the "off the rails", as someone described it here in this thread.  I do not want to tell the story.  I will just say that I don't miss her.

Re: Missing Poster...Gertrude

While I do understand avoiding arguments, I don't enjoy them either, I did enjoy the red carpet fashion posts. Maybe there's a quick way, but at least for me, posting images is time consuming and some of her fashion posts had lots of images.

@Kachina624 Yes, definitely. I'm really bad at remembering forum names. However, she is one I remember and avoid. She DOES argue and I have found the majority of her arguments have no basis. I can see why she was put in "time out".

@cjm61 @Kachina624 I felt the same way about her.  Often posts tended to end up with an argument of some kind.  She came across as  one of those people who have to be right all of the time!

...plus it was easy for me to remember her name since that was my mom's name!

@haddon9.  Agree, and a big chip on her shoulder.

@mspatmac@PhilaLady1,

Me too. I think she didn't like a post I posted about the fashions or something.

I stayed away from her threads from then on. Everything turned into an argument if you said anything different from her opinion.

Maybe she got tired of arguing.  Every discussion turned into an argument.  So many of her posts simply copied gruesome events in the news and got deleted.

@Kachina624     I've always wondered why people post "news" articles.   If we have a computer, we most likely have a news feed.     Oh well..........

@Chi-town girl  hasn't posted since her Superbowl party preparations.  I always enjoy her recipes, beauty and fashion posts.

I have noticed her MIA, too.  Her posts could be helpful one day and ripping your head off the next.

I have noticed that @SeaMaiden hasn't posted for a few weeks now.  I wonder if she is having health issues.....

She did not care for me. That's all I will say about that ... as not everyone likes everyone or everything. We are all different with different tastes and points of view. Our differences make us unique and our commonalities can help us come together in meaningful ways.
