Missed the mark on Leopard coats this year.

I posted a link to THE leopard coat of the season, QVC didnot allow the link and I can understand that completely. Most probably know of this coat anyway if they read the blogs. I am beyond shocked that Dennis did not get ahead of the trend and bring this to us. It is a tailored classic pea coat style in a brown leopard  and it has been all the rage. It was one hot item on the Crew site.

Dennis is a designer.  Not sure why he would need to follow a trend.

He doesnt have to do anything he doesnt want to do, but if you are going to say that they dont use trends as a selling point, well that would not be the case.

If the design happens to be a trend then they would be remiss not to mention it.  I don't think they require their vendors to follow the trends though, especially when they happen to be a designer.  Maybe he thinks he's starting his own trend.  I doubt the fact that he didn't copy a J Crew coat hurt his sales any.

My point is not about Dennis making sales goals though.
