... all the garments in these cockamamie color combinations, then say, "Doesn't this look great?!?!?"
Actually, no; it looks pretty stupid.
Rant over; carry on...

Amen to your rant. I saw one the other day that really made me laugh out loud!

That is one of the main reasons that I no longer watch the clothing shows. The other thing that drives me crazy is that they call every color "a neutral".
No, chartreuse and purple are not neutral colors!

I agree! I love, love, love LOGO tunics, but when they start piling up all these layers, it looks hideous! It takes away from the prettiness of the piece they are featuring. And NO, you cannot mix and match multiple colors! UGLY!

I'm not seeing really pretty combinations in prints or stripes.

Wish you'd post a few of your favorite outfits so we could all learn from you!
Don't want to be walking around looking hideous and ugly!
Thanks SO MUCH! By the way, CUTE nic!

@faeriemoon***How much "Ikat" do you have? I have "0".
It just isn't pretty to me.
Color combinations have to be done by someone with a good knowledge of the color wheel. In domestic fabrics, a main one is Waverly. Their fabrics are beautiful. We need someone that is as talented in clothing colors.

@ECBG, another ikat goose egg here. I just don't care for it.
The Q really could use a good color person. Today, when I had my little rant, Mary Beth was the offender. But Carolyn is notorious for putting together clown outfits too. Not necessarily on herself, but on the hangers. It's unfortunate that many viewers who don't know better may follow her advice.

@faeriemoon***I think they're trying to put together something for people who have to buy :an outfit". The problem is, the items aren't well designed as far as fabric prints or the design of the garmet itself.
I designed clothes in college, have taught tailoring, and Interior Design, and have awards; it looks like I'm going to stay with Lauren, Kors, or Vince Camuto.
