Thank you to the ladies and gentlemen who looked like they're enjoying themselves by SMILING! Penelope Cruz and Tory Burch look especially pretty.

I'm tired of the "model pout." I have never seen Gigi Hadid smile. She must sometimes, because she has a young daughter. But in every single picture I've seen she is pouting. Kaia Gerber is another young model that would be so much prettier if she smiled.

Why do they teach these young girls to pout and bring their face down??

THANK YOU, GREENEYEDLADY, for this, I guess you could say, cavalcade of fashion.  Yes, I think they all walked a lot so it was like they were all going somewhere to show off their attire.  I liked many of them a whole lot.  May have been my favorite MetGala in recent memory. Of course, there are always those whose "costume" does not seem to meet the criteria for the event, and there were a few of them tonight, but overall, I enjoyed it.
