The bizarre outfits are worn long enough for the photos..then most of the extra ruffles, headpieces, etc. come off. John Batiste...classic tuxedo....nothing better on a man. Not many dresses stood out to me, but lots of sparkles and dramatic outfits.

Whoever that is in that pink ruffled gown going up the staircase, The gown is just gorgeous!!!!! Love it, it is one of my favs....

I always thought Marilyn Monroe had a very rounded figure but this dress looks fairly slim.  Then again, a size 12 back in the 50's and 60's is probably a size 8 now.  Kim K looked beautiful in it and Pete Davidson looked really good too.

I read that Kim did not fit into the dress she wore as she walked into the Met,  and she wore the fur piece to cover up the opening in the back where the dress didn't close all the way.  

Another dress was made for her to wear for photos and inside the Met that did fit her.
