Extra off of clearance, items that have a long life on the floor already, have about minus zero appeal to me.

Memorial Day is all about getting rid of old, already passed over stock.

Color me "bored"!!!  Yawn.....

I want current stock that is appealing!  Not something to put away for 7-8 months!

@ECBG - you should do what YOU want this coming weekend Woman Very Happy

I will keep my eye open for any good fashion sales and will post info on your thread

For those with the wagging fingers or obvious attempts to throw politics into this thread,  shame on you! Careful getting off your soap boxes, you might hurt yourselves

Oh for goodness sake’s these boards are ridiculous. A person can’t even comment on disappointingly sales on a holiday without getting blasted! This is a fashion forum. For more serious minded posters, it’s probably best to post and comment on another forum. Geez, everyone gets offended over anything these days!

@Steffdoggy10  - I agree! It's the Fashion Forum and some are attempting to derail this fashion thread.

Why don't they start their own threads in the appropriate forum....hmmm, picking a fight, derailing threads, dragging someone down...yep, it's ridiculous and looks like mod's will be busy this weekend!

@Malcontent

Why are you here?? I am sorry that you lost a child. @ECBG has also but she doesn't use it as an excuse to berate people when they express an opinion on fashion on a fashion board!!

"There's a good chance you'll be celebrating Memorial Day somewhere other than your backyard this year, so it's understandable if holiday weekend shopping isn't top of mind. Good news, though: Perhaps in anticipation of shoppers not being so glued to their computer this time around, retailers have extended sales well beyond the three-day weekend. Below, we've curated a list of early Memorial Day sales that are already live or are scheduled to start this week, so you can get to shopping before you set your OOO. You'll find sales on comfotable clothing and shoes, luggage, beauty products, travel accessories, and more from some of our favorite brands—REI, Eberjey, and Calpak among them."

Clothing & shoes

 Nordstrom’s Half Yearly sale runs from May 26 to June 6—expect deals across the board, from men’s and women’s clothes and shoes to kids clothing, beauty and sunglasses, and home accessories

Eberjey: Starting Thursday, May 27, and running through Monday, May 31, Eberjey is offering an extra 20 percent off sale items. If you're looking for a new pair of pajamas to pack on summer vacations, we can't recommend Eberjey's soft, breathable sets enough. Use code posted on website to snag the discount.

SSense:: If you’re not familiar with SSense, now’s a great time to get acquainted—the Canada-based retailer is stacked with high-end designers, streetwear, and everyday labels like Adidas, with hundreds of items up to 50 percent off as part of its spring/summer sale.

Brooklinen: You probably know Brooklinen for its home goods, but we're big fans of its loungewear made from the same cozy material as the popular sheets. Whatever you're shopping for, from May 26 to June 2, everything on the site is 15 percent off.

Re: Memorial Day "Sales" Are Dissapointing!!!

Wow. You know when you look at the View All Forun Topics it's easy enough for someone not to immediately realize which specific forum they're in. So a fairly new poster made the "mistake" of going off topic and posting in this thread, relaying one of the most significant, devastating, bring to your knees, altering to the core, raw aspects of her existence. Bet she won't make that mistake again.
