Max Mara Fall/Winter 20/20 Milan Fashion Show

[ Edited ]

Max Mara has been a leader in fashion, much of which trickles down to department store brands.

I will not be doing the "large look"!  I never wear anything because it's trending.  "Love it or leave it"!

Happy to leave it.  Depressing.

Social distancing is absent

Face masks no one is wearing

Am I missing something there? Plus the defilé is in Milan

I wore some of this designer when I was working and I do like a few of the more classic pieces in this video, but those big droopy shoulders, pants dragging on the floor and oversized look aren't going to trickle down with much success.

@ECBG

I’ll be skipping the large look too.

I really dislike all the oversized pieces. The huge blazers with the shoulder lines hanging inches below the actual shoulders are not flattering at all. I also noticed lots of sleeves hanging way down past the wrist and hands. Not much here I like.

@Dinaki I wondered about the virus in that location also.  Quite surprising!

The fashion week was in Italy on February 18 to 24th. The lock down in Italy started around the 3th of March. That's why you don't see masks and seperation

I don't care for the darkness and droopieness but then I am not their target demographic nor do I purchase haute couture fashions.

I love a lot of the designs.  In fact, I own a black full length (just past calf) winter coat.  It's not cashmere but it is the softest wool.  When I filed for divorce in 1992, I needed a coat for work so I bought this one for $700.
