It's the faux shearling coat look, and it been trending for almost a year now.  Very popular.  I like Martha's clothes a lot and her brand is just about the only brand I buy from QVC.  This isn't Martha's but from Nordstrom which I purchased.

@Katcat1.  As I recall, Persian lamb was mostly worn by old ladies.  I never liked it because it didn't look like "real" fur.

A seriously excellent price for a very high-end, expensive style/look.

Thinking 'way back', I recall having a shorter somewhat similar look/jacket that I wore practically to shreds.

 Of course, tweens/teens didn't have many clothes in those days.  Just a few items in the closet and we wore our items until they were 'worn out', 

 I was young-ish.  Don't recall my age. 

Anyway, this MS coat is heavenly.  Very up-scale. 

Dressy or casual.  Can't beat the price for such a stylish, high-quality (and comfortable) look.
