Yes, I did have to size down by 1 size. Look at the garment sizing info-the tab on top of the size chart. Go by your hip size-there is some good stretch throughout the pant but especially in the waist. Fabric is really nice.

i have this from last year in a celadon color.....it makes a great layering piece. i would definitely get this in another color.
