Hi Guys:  I wrote to Marla's company at their website and asked about the lack of Flatterfit pants -- particularly the white ankle version.  Here are the relevant blurbs from their response:

"We have not discontinued the flatterfit fabric and would never imagine doing so."

"We do not have any ankle length options available at the moment but they should be coming in soon on reorder."

So there it is! Directly from the source!

@islandgrrl - TY for the good news about Flatterfit pants! Wonder if they will be the July TS item? Restock is way overdue!!!

I like the new crepe pants. Fabric is nice and fit is good for me. Noticed there is extra length, maybe intentional so tall girls can have them tailored if extra length is desired.

The crepe pants are different enough from the Flatterfits in terms of fabric, so I can see why Marla would offer both. I think the crepe are more 'dressy' and better for travel - less wrinkling.

 There is a cloud malibu top in M and L right now. I’ve been stalking the small.  I have an XS on its way in cloud.

@Dawnie

I have the cloud in XS. (my usual size)  The body of the shirt/jacket is very full but I found the underarm to be high.  I released the underarm seam about an inch or so, then extended the side seam about 2".  For me it gives me easier movement and the top is less voluminous.

On the downside, I fear this material is going to wrinkle.

@lulu1Wish you were near me and I could hire you to alter my clothes!  Smiley Very Happy  I need to take inspiration from Marla who says she just taught herself to sew but I have never been very good.

After trying these on again, I will probably keep the 2 mediums but will try to exchange the 2 larger sizes for small or s-small.  They are beautiful but very long/big on me.  I really like the burgandy pants.  Maybe I can find someone to hem them for me.  I need that color.

@Roni18. GMTA!   I ordered the shibori kimono in black yesterday!  I can wear it over the sand  pocket dress. It took me a while to find something to use the 20% coupon on.

Im waiting on the malibu shirt in cloud.  Lulu mentioned it may wrinkle. I have no qualms about returns!

@Dawnie  Cool!  I did the same- spent a long time debating over what to use the coupon on.  For some reason, I never get them when I am ordering a lot of stuff like last week.  Then once I decided, I had to debate again over the sand or the black!

@DawnieI believe that is the same top that I ordered.  It looked so nice on the models and looks like it will be good over the tanks.

I loved the unstructured chiffon top.  It will be very good for summer.  I will probably wear it more opened as a jacket than buttoned.  I got the dusty rose.

@Roni18 - I love that convertible poncho but I also like this chiffon top. Not sure if I will purchase both...more coupons are needed Woman LOL

Good news, I liked the flatterfits.  Today I was wearing the "cigarette" pants she had last year that were white.  I had almost forgotten about them.  Very comfortable.

@Chi-town girl  I was not sure I would like the chiffon top but I loved it.  The rose looks good with Marla's pinks and latte colors.  It does give a dressy look.

@Roni18 -  I think I would wear the chiffon top more often than the poncho, but that poncho is gorgeous!  I appreciate your input on sizing.

See you tmrw night!

@Chi-town girl

Hopefully I can snag a pair of the new crepe pants when they go on sale. I’m very curious what changes she made from my originals. I agree with you that the crepe fabrication has a dressier quality.
