Watching Marla Wynn her clothes seem expensive.

Are they worth the money $79.00 for a turtleneck?

No, most purchase when items go on sale or clearance.

I have a few things of hers.....I had a butterfly Tee Shirt, horrible pilling.  I also have two v-neck sweaters, both are nice and still look nice....several things  I have purchased and returned, tops are big and hard to figuure out what is the correct size and also things are quite 'flowey', yes I know not a word but I like things that are a bit more fitted and have never been a fan otf large tunics, etc.

Pants, I must try on before buying, I did purchase one pair from her line, they had great reviews, the fabric was awful to me, seemed heavy and 'thick' with lots of spandex.....I like a trouser not a jegging, legging, etc.

If you love the look of something I would buy it because I do think her things are well made but my lifesyle is winding down to retirement in the next year so I will not need a lot of expensive things to wear around the house.

Wait for a sale.

I bought 2 of her sweaters, oversized but stylish. Cheap construction on both. Neither lasted more than 1 season.

I like Marla's jewelry and scarves most.  I have a few sweaters and flatterfit pants I bought on clearance and am pleased with. I wait for a coupon to buy the jewelry.  Scarves get greatly reduced on clearance and some are real beauties!

I took a quick look and her clothes aren't anymore expensive that some of the fashion lines here at QVC, no more expensive than Chicos or BHWM.  I don't think $79 is a lot to pay for top or anything else today.

I think her turtlenecks are overpriced.  I know a lot of posters love her butterfly tees and turtlenecks but I think they are thin and sometimes they come with threads hanging.  The fabric isn't consistent as some I have pilled. The sizing is all over the place.

I think JJill and Chico's have better turtlenecks.

Marla's line does start out expensive, but they usually make price reductions/sales frequently.  I appreciate that HSN does mark things down as new items come in and I've found they reduce prices much more quickly than QVC.    I shop a lot from her line and most of the items are good quality.   Be sure to check the garment measurements as sometimes her tops are oversized.  I usually size down a size (sometimes 2) and am able to get a good fit.   The pants fit more true to size.

Overall Marla's clothing isn't for me.  I do have a couple of v-neck butterfly t's and I absolutely love them.  But I would not pay the original price for them (they are very thin) and it's hard to catch them in my size and a good color when they are marked  down.  IMO they do run very large, or at least the last one I bought did.  I have no desire for the turtleneck butterfly t's.  I also have had no pilling issue.

I fel the same way about her pants as @Mom2Dogs did.  I bought them and I thought the material was gross.  They were also extremely ill-fitting on me.  They always talk about going down a size but I actually needed to go up a size and then I would have had to have them altered in the waist.

Most of her other stuff is too oversized, too boxy and too flowy for me.  And yeah I think the prices are just too high for shopping channel stuff.  The prices might be the same as Chicos or WHBM but HSN isn't either of those stores.  It's a tv shopping channel.  If I want to pay those prices, I'll shop in those stores.

Marla's clothing is nice and comfortable, I go down a size when ordering her tops.
