I have seen Maria do this twice now while presenting the TSV blanket. She is using Jackie the Model's sick puppy story as a selling point. It's clearly upsetting Jackie, and she clearly never asked her ahead of time, because after the second time Maria said, "I hope you don't mind me telling this story" as if it mattered at that point to ask. ?? What is wrong with people? Does she really think that was kind? Or was she just thinking about herself, and making a sale? It's obvious.

I haven't seen it, however, I agree with you.  Big insensitive mistake!

@alohakz  Jackie, who I like and who seems so sweet and down to earth, must have told Maria about her puppy being very sick. Maria, during last night's show and today's, decided to use it as a tearjerker selling point, because Jackie had told her the Dog lays in her old BD blanket. I can only surmise that Jackie never gave her permission to put that out there, not only once but twice, because the second time Maria said, "I hope you don't mind me telling this story" which is not cool after you already did it twice. Then the camera went to Jackie and I guess she felt compelled to show the pic and then she got emotional. Having gone through this and losing several of my beloved pets all within 2 years due to age/disease, I can attest it is extremely painful for a long time. I felt so bad for Jackie and couldn't believe Maria was so insensitive to use her that way to make a sale. It was hard to watch.

@KittySoftPaws thanks for explaining...some people have no brains...on an unrelated topic i was reading a post here about florida....& saw that you're in Naples & don't like it...just curious where did u relocate to Naples from?

@alohakz  Rehoboth Beach, Delaware. It's nice here in Florida now, but the Summer was brutal and 2 Hurricanes since we arrived! I noticed your avatar and name, was wondering, do you live in Hawaii?

@KittySoftPaws i wish...lol...LBI nj...i've only been to Naples once many years ago & it was beautiful but i could see how moving there would take some time to adjust

That was terribly insensitive of Maria to even mention about Jackie's sick dog. Some people have no common sense or empathy. That is why I quit watching because anything goes. It has become a problem.
