This may be old information. Now that it is Spring and I don't want to wear tights and I don't want my old (73 years) bare legs showing, I use Sally Hansen's Airbrush Legs that I purchased at Walmart. It smooths the legs and hides veins and other imperfections. It is a little messy to apply but worth it.

I could use some help too. Does the Sally Hansen stuff stay on once you have it on? How would it be for really fair skin?

I have very pale (white) legs; therefore, I don't like to wear short pants or dresses in the summertime. I do use sunless tanner on my legs in the summer if I decide to wear crop pants or shorter dresses. I haven't tried any make-up on my legs, as I don't like the mess.

I take after my father with my varicose railroad (and he was never one pound overweight!). Thanks for the info! It is useful for me.

Does this stuff have a bad, odor, like the self-tanners?

I'd be interested, too. I'm not a fan of tanners that alter the pigments on skin, so I'd be interested in a leg concealer (make up), or bronzing powder that I can dust on with a brush. Anyone know of any at a not so expensive price?

p.s. I dislike odors/heavy scents, too. 'Has to be something' out there...........

Joan Rivers has a product called the Right to Bare Legs that I've wondered about too. But I bet this Sally Hansen stuff is cheaper. I need something and I hate the smell of self tanners.

I wonder if there is a bb cream for legs.

Something that evens out imperfections, gives a little color that blends with your skin tone, but doesn't scream "self-tanner."

Maybe the leg make up is like that?

I've been using Sally Hansen's Airbrushed Legs since before my DH passed over a decade ago, and I love it. I think it gives just enough polish and color that I don't feel self-conscious with my bare legs. I wear tights in the winter, but haven't worn hose in a very long time. I'm not sure how I would feel if I still had to wear a suit everyday, but my workplace is very casual.

I shave and exfoliate my legs before using, and it lasts until I need to shave again.
